About
I was a pricing analyst first. It still shapes every bid.
I’m Radu Bobirnac. I manage Amazon Advertising for founder-led brands spending $20K to $500K a month.
For eight years I worked as a pricing analyst in the building materials industry, where a fraction of a point of margin decides whether a deal is worth doing. I built the reports that caught pricing errors and learned to ask one question of every number: what does this actually earn us?
In 2021 I started managing Amazon ads alongside my pricing work, and in 2024 I went full-time. From the start I noticed most accounts were managed to ACoS alone. Bids went up because a dashboard looked good, not because the product could afford it. So I built my approach the other way around: start with the unit economics, set a break-even for every product, and make every campaign earn its budget.
Since 2021 I’ve managed more than $10M in Amazon ad spend this way, including a personal care account spending about $246K a month.

Operating rules
Rules I manage by
The same decisions show up in every account, so I keep them written down.
- Stop waste before buying more trafficZero-order spend gets cut first. It’s the fastest money in any account.
- Separate intent before changing bidsBrand, non-brand, competitor and discovery traffic each get their own campaigns.
- Discovery campaigns are for learningProven terms move to exact match and get negated where they started.
- Placement premiums have to be earnedTop-of-search bids go up only where conversion and margin support them.
- Check the constraints before scalingInventory, listing conversion and margin come before a bigger budget.
- Judge ads against the whole businessTACoS and total sales matter more than a low ACoS on its own.
