What do the reports count?

Method and limits

This is a comparison-basis checker. It subtracts attributed sales minus Ordered Product Sales only when both currency codes match. It does not join order IDs or reconcile refunds, and it cannot quantify every reason for the gap.

Can ad-attributed sales be higher than Business Report sales?

Yes, the reporting bases can differ. Sponsored ad campaign sales are reported on the ad interaction date; the purchase may occur later inside the attribution window. Depending on the campaign, attributed sales can also cover products beyond those advertised. Different dates or scopes can produce a higher attributed-sales total.

Is total sales minus ad sales my organic revenue?

It is not an exact organic-sales calculation. First check dates, product coverage, merchant coverage, discounts, tax and adjustments. Even when the dates and currency match, the reports may count different sets of orders.

Amazon DSP reports attribution on the conversion date. Check the exact report, ad product and account settings rather than applying one rule to every Ads export.
