Where do I get the report?
In Amazon Ads, open Measurement & reporting → Sponsored ads reports. Create a Sponsored Products Search term report, choose Daily or Summary, then download it. Use one marketplace and settled attribution dates. Your PPC manager can supply the export.
This checker uses click-attributed purchases and sales from the same window. Don’t mix a 7-day purchases column with 14-day sales.
Check the columns.
Your file stays in memory for this tab. Confirm purchases and sales use the same attribution window.
Optional context
Make the review more specific.
Review settings and protected phrases
20 clicks, 20 in spend and 3 purchases are editable example thresholds, not universal rules. Supplied margins enable a separate evidence check.
Product economics · connect your Catalog Profit Check
Assign the average profit before ads per attributed purchase to each comparable product group. Don’t apply one margin across unrelated products. A saved Catalog Profit Check product supplies a one-unit estimate; adjust it for multiple units, other purchased products, returns or other costs.
| Campaign / ad group | Saved product | Profit per purchase |
|---|
Estimates apply to ad-attributed purchases, not incremental business profit. They exclude costs you have not included.
Exact keyword coverage · add an optional bulk export
A Search Term Report can’t prove a keyword is missing. Add your current Amazon Sponsored Products bulk export to check literal exact keywords and their states.
A keyword found elsewhere may advertise different products. Missing results refer only to the supplied file. Close variants, plurals and word order are not treated as identical keywords.

The terms behind the summary.
Grouped within campaign, ad group, product label and traffic type. Highest spend first.
The AI-ready file includes up to 20 search terms and their context. It downloads to your device; sharing it with an AI is your choice.

How this review is calculated, and its limits
ACoS = spend ÷ attributed sales. Estimated contribution = purchases × your supplied profit per purchase − spend. Zero-order evidence uses the chance of no purchases at break-even, with a conservative adjustment for the number of tests. Harvest estimates reuse the existing model, with a campaign/ad-group baseline excluding the term itself.
For developers, the same math is available as a free JSON API (specification). Calling that endpoint sends the data you provide to the server; this page’s file analysis never calls it.
A Search Term Report doesn’t provide placement totals. Use the Placement Bid Calculator with your campaign’s placement data. This checker makes no campaign changes.
Questions before you start.
Can I use this without knowing my margins?
Yes. You’ll see report totals, spend without purchases, converting terms and a review list. Profit estimates and margin-based evidence need the optional economics inputs.
Why use this instead of asking an AI?
You can use either. This checker gives you repeatable calculations, visible assumptions and private file processing without writing a prompt. Its downloadable summary can give your own AI a more structured starting point.
Does a zero-purchase term mean I should negate it?
No. It may need more data, have unsettled attribution, or serve a strategic purpose. Review the evidence, product relevance and context first.
Are my files saved or sent anywhere?
No. Report and bulk files are held in this tab’s memory, with no report upload or AI request. Clearing the report or closing the tab removes them. Only a term you explicitly open in another calculator is passed locally to that calculator, which follows its existing local-save behavior.
